On the 12th of September, some of the Argus Tracking team attended the 5th Annual Australasian Brake Fleet Safety Awards which are organised and held annually by road safety charity Brake as part of Brake’s Global Fleet Champions initiative, a global partnership campaign to prevent crashes and reduce pollution by vehicles used for work purposes.
Sponsored by the NZ Transport Agency, the awards recognise companies and individuals who have implemented successful initiatives, products or services to tackle fleet safety and are working to reduce road incidents involving at-work drivers - something Argus Tracking helps our customers achieve.
Argus Tracking was nominated as a finalist in the Fleet Safety Product category and we are thrilled to announce that we were awarded highly commended for our innovative and market-leading Driver Behaviour software and achievements in increasing the driver safety of our customers. It is terrific to be recognised as the leader in telematics driver safety as well as helping our customers achieve no less than one other category win and a highly commended.
The reduction in incidents and improvement in the driving behaviour of our customers’ drivers are testament to an intelligent, easy to use product that makes a real difference to our customers as well as other road users – not only in driver safety, but also to the bottom line, bringing a return on investment financially through savings and optimisation.
While elated with our award on the night, it became a double celebration when one of our customers, Fauzia Ali from Johnson Controls, received the award for Road Risk Manager of the Year Award, as well as Johnson Controls also achieving highly commended for the Company Driver Safety Award.
Congratulations Fauzia, we are thrilled you have been able to use Argus Tracking to achieve such brilliant results in reducing your road risk.
We would like to also congratulate the winner of the Fleet Safety Product category eDrive which is an innovative online driver training tool.
