In the ever-evolving landscape of transportation services, Waka Kotahi NZTA is making waves once again by introducing a series of price changes in October 2023 to help subside the $100 million shortfall that was discovered during a recent performance review. The extensive review of their current fees and charges revealed that the transport regulator was both underfunded and under-resourced, resulting in the shortcoming.
How Will This Affect Your Fleet?
Your fleet operations and maintenance may be directly impacted due to the increase in Road User Charges (RUCs) and Vehicle Registration prices. If you have a tight budget, it’s important to take this time before these changes take effect to plan ahead, ensuring that your fleet remains cost-effective and sustainable in light of these price changes.
